The 12th Imam Given the title of Fleeing

Among the most favorite attacks done by the dozeners is to attack the sahaba by falsely accusing them of running away in battles. However, in the 12er shia books the 12th imam is known with the title of fleeing.
Ikmaaluddin: It is narrated from Ibne Musa from Asadi from Saad fromMuhammad bin Abdul Hamid and Abdus Samad bin Muhammad together from Hannan bin Sudair from Ali bin Hazur from Ibne Nubatah that he said: I heardAmirul Momineen (a.s.) say: “The Master of this Affair is the runaway, the fugitive, the loner and the forlorn.”
Ikmaaluddin: Shaykh Saduq has narrated from his father from Muhammad bin Yahya Attar from Ja’far bin Muhammad bin Malik from Hamadan bin Mansur from Saad bin Muhammad from Isa Khashshab that he said: I said to Husain Ibne Ali (a.s.), “Are you the Awaited Patron of thisEnterprise?” He said: “No, rather, the Patron of this Enterprise is the runaway, fugitive, the son of a non-avenged father, called by the patronymic of his uncle. He will put his sword on his shoulder for eight months.”
Both ahadith taken from Kitab al Ghaiba. Now the 12ers might say these are weak. Okay fine they are weak. However, their understanding of the sahaba's participation in the battles is also weak.
If they want to play with the interpretations I too can ask how  if the 12th imam did not run away how did he manage to escape from his enemies ?
